Noises are impossible to correctly diagnoise unless you hear them. TAke it to a good diagnoistition.
A hole in the muffler would cause a knocking sound in your muffler. A loose exhaust pipe can also cause a knocking noise.

Yes, rear stablizer bar links are a very common cause for rattling, knocking in the rear of these trucks. Especially over "washboard" type of roads or going over railroad tracks.- TechJK I had to replace my sway bar linkage.
