You do not pour oil into an ac compressor, It goes in just like the "freon",,,under pressure. You can but an oil charge kit from any good auto parts store but only use it if you absolutely know it needs oil. Too much will ruin the compressor and clog the separator.

Best way to check if the AC compressor is working or not is take off the compressor and take it in to get it tested. Auto Zone, O'Rily or some auto store and they don't charge you at all it's free.
