It could be your gall bladder. If you have tried an ultra sound already, you may suggest to your doctor that he/she try a hydoscan. This test will show if the gall bladder in not working properly.
A burning sensation in the lower right area of the abdomen could be appendicitis. If female, it could be an ovary or the start of pain that will get much worse involving an ectopic pregnancy.
If the pain moves around, it could be gas, but if it is in one place and the pain worsens or other symptoms such as nausea, diarrhea, fever, or vomiting appear...a trip to the doc is in order...ER!
Ectopic pregnancies can be fatal if not discovered early. Appendicitis may be acute or chronic and both forms can rupture at any time.
