I have had pain under the right side of rib cage going halfway down the stomach. During the day no pain. Pain worst at night whilst laying flat. slight feeling of numbness under right side of breast bone. any thoughts

∙ 9y agoIn the human version, we have 12 pairs of ribs that are numbered from the top down. The first one is at the level of the collarbone and called thoracic vertebra number 1, or T1. Then they aare numbered down to the last pair just above the waist, the floating ribs numbered T11 and T12.
