Your pet rabbit may have sustained a spinal cord injury or an internal problem may be placing pressure on the spinal cord causing neural impingement - best to see a veterinarian for a professional opinion .

If your rabbit can't stand on his back legs, that means he's been seriously injured. He may be permanently paralyzed, or he may recover if he gets the right therapy and medication. Either way, your rabbit needs immediate medical attention from a vet who has special experience and knowledge in rabbits. Don't wait, because if your bunny doesn't get professional help, he will die a very painful death! If you can't afford a vet, then you should surrender the rabbit to an animal shelter, where he can get the help he needs (even if that means euthanasia).

Back injuries leading to paralysis are common in rabbits, although usually preventable. You should research how to control your bunny's environment (bunny-proof), and how to handle rabbits properly, so that this sort of thing doesn't happen again.
