The thumping from the blower is most likely something in the blower cage. something probably got sucked out of the glove box. the recirc button opens the max air door and could be the button or the motor on the door itself. taking the glove box out will be the easiest way to remove the blower although they are tucked in very tight and it may also be necessary to remove the bottom bolt for the dash to make enough room to get it out all the way.
Your air conditioner blower may have stopped working because the blower motor isn't working. You can replace the blower or replace the air conditioner.
The heater blower for a 2002 Chevy Silverado is mounted under the dash. It is on the passenger side, in the heater housing.
the blower fan rheostat usually located in blower box is like a resistor that draws energy from the blower fan supply to slow it down and there is a high speed fan relay for the fastest speed. So your rheostat is not working
Bad blower resistor?
my infinity g-20 blower not working
The blower motor is located under the passenger side of the dash panel.
The blower resistor gets overheated and burns out usually because the blower motor is failing also.
its the vent door. next time try hitting the switch for recycle/fresh air off and on. that may help.
I think the blower motor relay is internal to the blower motor resistor which is located under the passenger side dash.
Why does my 99 silverado have no heat and the ac fuses look good and blower motot works great
Well you got ten years out of it. Put in a new one. Fuse??? Take a test light and see if there is power to the blower. Had this problem on my 1998 silverado with blower working on only high speed. Replaced the resistor, relay, and motor. Didn't help. Finally decided to use a test light to check for power. Started at connection supplying power to the blower motor switch then checked for power at each blower switch speed connector. Bingo! Bad switch. www.napaonline.com/masterpages/NOLMaster.aspx?PageId=470&LineCode=ECH&PartNumber=HC1...
the blower motor relay is located next to the blower motor it is connected to the motor by a purple and black wires
its next to the blower motor behind lower of glove box
crown Victoria blower not working and head lights.
Most likely the Blower Motor Resistor.
Pass side firewall.
Under the passenger side of the dash
What about it? Need more info.
gants, I have Denali 2004, the rear AC blower not working
Blown fuse. Burned out blower speed resistor. Faulty blower switch. Bad blower motor.
take the inner glove box liner out and it is right there on top of the blower assembly. Has a bundle of wires connected to it.
If yourtalking about the heater blower, I believe they are hidden behind the glove box inner liner.
Its not the relay, it is the blower motor resistor.
The blower in my 2001 Honda Civic did not stop working.
Check the following................ 1. Power and ground to the blower motor. 2. Blower resister. 3. Blower switch.
