What country is aluminum found in?
spain spain spain
Yes and no. Aluminum is found in most crustal rocks including the many various granites of Colorado. It can also be found in many sediment beds. However, to my knowledge, there are no commercial aluminum mines in CO. Al. is primarily mined from the mineral bauxite. Check the U.S.G.S. website for major bauxite and aluminum deposit locales in the U.S. firstname.lastname@example.org
Found in nature, if you look on a table of elements it's on it. Answer: Aluminium is found in nature as an ore such as bauxite (primarily Al(OH)3), not as pure metallic aluminum (Al). The ore must be processed to release the pure aluminum. Other metals, such as gold, are found in their pure form in nature.
The metal we know as aluminum is a chemical element in its own right. Any aluminum that you come across, however, will likely have a layer of aluminum oxide on any surface that is exposed to air. The thin oxide film appears quickly and forms a "barrier" to resist further corrosion. Aluminum is moderately reactive, and it is not found free in nature. In addition, you'll probably have some oxygen in the aluminum.
