At the time when The Nazis had power, the world in general was not at it's best. No one wanted to get involved with it, they all had their own problems to deal with. As for the German citizens, Germany was in a very bad depression. Hitler came and started making talk of pulling the country out of it's depression, the people listened and they didn't care what he did. As long as he made everything better.

The list is very, very long going back for centuries. In fact it goes back to when someone (some fool) decided that it was the Jews fault that Jesus was executed and that all Jews on the face of the earth forever and ever should be punished and that it was their job to do the punishing, instead of waiting for judgment day.

The list includes false accusations, denial of civil rights, temple and community center bombings, to mass murder just to name a few.

Technically, the only crime there was, was murder. But if it were to happen today, there would be hundreds of crimes. Murder, attempted murder, domestic violence, random acts of violence, theft, kidnapping, destroying public property, destroying personal property, arson, fighting, breaking and entering, attacks against officials, and a ton more.
