According to the Bible when was Jesus Christ born?

It also tells about the Shepards in the fields watching their flocks. This would have also been in the summer months. So all hints point to around July or Aug when he was born. Why Dec 25th ? In the early middle ages when the Catholic church began as the dominate religion they saw that the pagan rituals could be replaced with Christian ones. The pagan winter solace happened around Dec. 25th, so it became the birth of Jesus instead of the pagan celebration.

While most celebrate the birth of Chirst on December 25, the actual time I believe as related to the time of the census is possibly some time in June of July. Due to persecution from the Romans, the followers of Christ celebrated the holiday farthest possible from the given day.
