Bob Dylan and The Beatles had a very close relationship with each other. They both had similar musical icons that they looked up too. One example of how close they were was in, Bob Dylan's song tangled up in blue. He used lyrics that the Beatles used in one of their songs, and actually had a direct reference to John Lennon in the sixth verse.
No. Bob Dylan was a successful musician/poet at the same time that the Beatles were enjoying success. They met in New York, and Bob Dylan introduced them to marijuana. Bob Dylan and the Beatles inspired one another and exchanged creative ideas, but neither were the direct cause of the other's success. ----- It is said that Dylan was encouraged to "go electric", abandoning pure folk music, after he heard "I Want To Hold Your Hand". (He also mistook the song's line "I can't hide" as "I get high", and thought the Beatles already smoked.) His career in America took off about the same time the Beatles's did in England.

That's a matter of opinion, many would say yes, though.
well im not sure how you mean compare. if you mean is it better than music today, then i would say yes, it is because of the quality and the fact you cant date Beatles music. but if you mean how does it influence music today then all i can say is, without the beatles, and their music, and their lyrics and everything they did, you wouldn't have all the music now, like Justin bieber, take that, rihanna and all the other big names because they changed the music inustry. thanx 4 reading my answer it means alotxx
i would say that twist and shout is considering to be rock n' roll

I'd say a ot because if everybody could be an artist like Bob Dylan they would be making a fortune... and you know... he's one of the best!

That's a tough one. Both Dylan and the Stones are extremely talented and very important to the evolution of 20th century music. I will say that I originally liked Dylan more at first, because of the depth of his lyrics. I can't decide, though. I love both of them.
Unlike, say, Led Zeppelin, no one. They have said they've wanted to write songs like other performers, i.e. Bob Dylan, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, etc. But they never copied.
