1532. In that year, also, he and his forces of less than 200 Spanish men outwitted the complacent Incan emperor, Atahualpa, and his forces of 80,000. Pizarro executed the 12 man honor guard, took Atahualpa forcibly, for ransom. Even when the ransom demands were met - in gold and silver - Atahualpa was executed, nevertheless.
