Henry VIII did not dislike Jane Seymour, in fact, just before he died, he requested that he be buried beside her. Henry loved Jane, particularly as she gave birth to his only legitimate male heir (Edward). Jane was very meek and mild compared to the feisty Anne Boleyn, so she did not give Henry any cause for concern. Their only real clash came when Jane spoke up for the Northern rebels, and Henry put her in her place. Unfortunately, Jane died shortly after giving birth to Edward and Henry was devastated.
