The quote "violence begets violence" was used by Martin Luther King.
The New Testament has a similar statement in Matthew 26:52, NIV: "Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword".
No reference on Moses.
Jesus never ever taught that we should show violence towards unbelievers.
In fact, he taught the exact opposite - that we should love our neighbours (believers and non-believers) as we would love ouirselves. We should even love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us.
This is in stark contrast to how the world thinks, and even how some other religions think. But if everyone loved unconditionally, what a different place the world would be.
"Thou shall not kill." (Ex. 20:13 KJV) is the 6th Commandment of the 10 Commandments given by Moses.
"He that smiteth a man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death." (Ex. 21:12 KJV)
"And he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death." (Ex.21:15 KJV)
Matthew 5:38 - You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.'
In the King James version
The quote "violence only begets more violence" was spoken by Moses, it's in the bible.
Moses never said that. It is from a contemporary speech by Martin Luther King Jr. The closest biblical verse is from Jesus: Matthew 26:52New King James Version (NKJV) 52 But Jesus said to him, "Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword.

Moses is in the bible and was a MAN
Has some misguided and distorted historical angles. The title refers to the Biblical character Moses, not an uppity modern Arab. There is the usual quota of violence, after all this was the Middle East!
Since the only evidence we have for Moses is in the Bible and the Bible explicitly claims the Moses was buried, there is no genuine source to counter this and say that Moses was incinerated.
In the bible it is said Moses saw Gods back only.
um in the bible in mark
