Bachelor of Science in International Affairs (Cum Laude) at Harvard University

His bachelor thesis was about British international relations prior to the second world war. Due to funds of his father the thesis was published in 1944 as 'Why England slept'.

During his study he did spend some time at LSE in London and after his bachelor at Stanford Business School.

Except for his Harvard degree in International Affairs, none. Through most of his school and student years he was beset by health problems that prevented him - together with the outbreak of WW 2 and his military service - from further studies.
