In the 1968 movie "", the part of Mercutio was played by John McEnery, who was fairly tall and thin.
Titanic, Phantom of the Opera, Mad Love. But especially Romeo and Juliet (1968) or Romeo+Juliet (1996)
well mercutio did have a was pretty aggressive he didn't like the Capulet's at all he would fight for the Montague's. mercutio was a troublemaker but always protected romeo i think he thought romeo was too young for those type of things
For some characters, like Romeo, Juliet and Paris, they only lived to Act 5. Mercutio by comparison died prematurely, in Act 3.
Mercutio's appearance isn't described, but he still has an appearance. It's up to the director to decide what he will look like.
Where his friend Romeo is and then why Mercutio was acting like a fool.
She was extremely tiny, "no bigger than an agate stone", and is some sort of insect.
obviously the chorus. also both romeo and Juliet keep saying if they cannot be together they will kill themselfs. Juliet says, "my grave is like to be my wedding bed." Mercutio says "a plague on both your houses" the friar says "these violent delights have violent ends."
LOVE : Juliet and Romeo share a romantic type of love. Juliet and the Nurse share a mother-daughter sort of relationship. Juliet confides in the Nurse and the Nurse has practically raised Juliet. Romeo and his friends, Benvolio and Mercutio, love each other. It's evident right at the begining of the play when Romeo is feeling down about a girl Rosaline that doesn't return his love. They encourage him to go to the Capulet party in order to meet more women and forget about Rosaline because they don't like seeing him so heartbroken. Love is also observed between Juliet and her cousin, Tybalt. He is very upset when he discovers that Juliet has fallen in love with a Montague, long-time enemy to the Capulets. He would not want her to get involved with someone whom their family is not fond. FRIENDSHIP : Juliet confides in the Nurse. She feels like she can tell her about loving Romeo, a Montague and an enemy in Juliet's family's eyes. Romeo and his friend Mercutio share a very strong bond as well. Mercutio is always there for Romeo when he is feeling down or is in trouble. When Tybalt (Juliet's cousin) challenged Romeo to a dual, Romeo refused to fight him. But Mercutio fought on his behalf because he was enraged that someone wanted to hurt his friend.
What I like about Romeo and Juliet is the part where they bite their thumbs. That's what you get for asking me.
Mercutio is from a noble family, closely related to the Prince. Romeo is from a rich but middle-class family. So the answer is no.
Romeo and Juliet actually both had moustaches, however Romeo had two.
He isn't really mad, just excitable. When he delivers his Queen Mab speech he does sound like a madman (which is why Romeo says "thou talkst of nothing") but he isn't really insane.
I would like to recommend Romeo and Juliet because their love was eternal.
they pretend Juliet dies so she doesnt get maried to someone she doesnt like then she goes with romeo
Mercutio doesn't like him much, calling him "Prince of Cats" for some reason, and the"very butcher of a silk button."
they like to love each other
Mercutio thinks that it is absolutely meaningless (as it is). And Romeo thinks it is like some gift from god.(for some reason.)
Before Romeo walks in on the scene, Mercutio and Benvolio walk around thinking they should go home. Tybalt shows up ready to kill Romeo. Mercutio taunts Tybalt to pull his sword and they fight. Romeo decides to show up when they are fighting. Tybalt stops and wants to kill Romeo. Romeo (just married so Tybalt is his cousin) says how he loves him. Mercutio gets mad and him and Tybalt start fighting again. Romeo steps between them, facing Tybalt leaving Tybalt a free shot while blocking Mercutio. Tybalt stabs Mercutio under Romeo's arm. Tyblat runs, while Romeo is shocked. When Tybalt comes back Romeo is like "the hulk." He fights Tybalt and stabs him. He runs to Friar Laurence and finds out that he is banished to Mantua. Hope this helps! :)
Mercutio does not like Tybalt and was itching to fight him even before Romeo showed up. When Romeo refused to fight, this gave Mercutio the excuse to fight Tybalt, "to save Romeo's honour".
"(Just Like) Romeo and Juliet" by The Reflections or "Romeo and Juliet" by Dire Straits or "Love Story" by Taylor Swift
Paris doesn't TRULY love Juliet, like Romeo does.
I read somewhere it was the 1968 version. The one with Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey.
the nurse stalls because she does not like the whole idea of Juliet and romeo getting married the nurse stalls because she does not like the whole idea of Juliet and romeo getting married
Mercutio and Romeo are best friends, and it seems like Romeo could never help but want to argue light-heartedly with him, even when he's upset in act 1, scene 4.
The mood in the beginning of Act 3 Scene 1 is very sarcastic then turns to challenging and anger. When Romeo turns down the fight and Mercutio accepts it, its like a game. But when Mercutio is killed, the atmosphere turns into more of a serious and violent type. The mood is mostly heightened when Tybalt dies and Romeo realises what hes done.
