Roosevelt entered us into World War II. Entering war helps get out of an economic depression because it takes men out of the work force and puts them in the military, causing the rest of the U.S to enter the job market. Then they mass produce many products which causes the economy to boom.

I don't think that Roosevelt started World War II so he could end the depression. I am not so sure that Roosevelt even started World War II. What about Hitler? What about Japan and Pearl Harbor.

Now as for what Roosevelt did do. First of all he stole the peoples gold and gave the paper money for it. It was a rip off. You could be sent to prison if you did not turn over your gold. You could not even open your safety deposit box without a government agent looking over your shoulder. So much for the fourth amendment.

Roosevelt started social security which is the worlds largest chain letter. Roosevelt is responsible for some of the problems that we have today.

I don't think that Roosevelt really did anything to end the Depression. He was however able to con people into thinking that be was ending it. Some of the things that Roosevelt did were unconstitutional so he tried to pack the Supreme Court so he could get his way.
