to make the wine,they would have washed the rice and poured alcohol into a dish with the rice in it. Then cover with glade rap and stored in a place which is dry but warm around 20 degrees and leave it for 2 weeks. Then afterwards it will become rice wine.
It would have a spicy and rice favoured smell and they wine is slightly cloudy coloured.

∙ 14y agoChinese people like to drink a strong, clear alcohol at New Year (or any other special occasion). This drink is called Baijiu and usually made from sorghum, rice and other grains. It ranges from about 35%-65%, but the average is around 50% alcohol/volume. It also ranges in in taste, depending on the area of China which it was made.
The best brands of Baijiu are probably Maotai or Wuliangye, which are equally as expensive as a very fine malt whiskey. Surprisingly, Baijiu is not well-known outside of China, as it is a national treasure here and a very fine drink.
