Curious question. Shakespeare lived in Elizabethan times, he had no choice. He certainly enjoyed writing and the whole theatrical business. He might have written differently if he had lived in different times.
Elizabethan theater involved several theater companies of actors and playwrights. In London the globe theater was in use and Shakespeare was performing his works. There were no female actresses during Elizabethan times, instead young teenage boys would play female roles.
How the hell do you think they memorized scripts or how romeo and juliet was written down? At least some people (and all of the actors) had to know how to read. And these were ordinary middle-class people like Shakespeare himself.
In 1290 Edward I expelled all Jews from England, and they were not readmitted to the country till 1657 (except as members of the households of foreign diplomats). So, in the reign of Elizabeth I, there were practically no Jews in England. However, all the usual stereotypes were there.
You can find out by attending a play at Shakespeare's Globe in London or in another replica of an Elizabethan theatre.
