Yes, a large number of people know him, and he still has a fanatical fan-base, young and old, throughout the world. He has accomplished more than any other singer has probably ever accomplished. Elvis is one of the most recognized people in the world and in his lifetime was the king of rock n' roll, a chart topping artist, an actor starring in almost thirty films, and not to mention his live concerts which always sold out. You can't mention American legends without talking about Elvis Presley.

I think Elvis Presley was a commie and his daughter is a phoney. She has enough and she steals other people's music. It was her father's band that helped on Storm and Grace yeeeeeaaaarrrrss ago. He's heard some of the stuff on her album. When is the real truth ever going to come out????? How about NEVER!! Ask Stevie Wonder. He knows things. Seriously.

Just the ones that are jealous of his gorgeous good looks, his amazing singing style and voice - because everyone else LOVES Elvis.

Answer:Actually, I've never been fond of Elvis on the whole. While I like some of the music he made, I'm not a fan of all of it. As a child, I enjoyed some of his movies, but looking back I have to confess it was not his roles in those movies that made them for me.

My personal opinion is that Elvis was a good singer and performer, although not as good as a very vocal minority would like the world to believe. Elvis had talent, no doubt, but the credit for his rise falls to marketing. As I have said, and has been demonstrated by far too many "artists" since, Elvis was a miracle of modern mass marketing. Harsh truth, but truth no less.
