∙ 10y agoPresident Kennedy sent over a small number of military advisors to South Vietnam to assist them in planning their defense against the invasion by North Vietnam. Under President Johnson, this military involvement became progressively larger. No one really knows what Kennedy would have done, had he not been assassinated.
