This was not only because he was the leader of the NSDAP, but he was also mainly called Führer because he took the whole of the German people and told them they had nothing to be ashamed of, nothing they needed to atone for as the globalists would have you believe. And he guided them very successfully out of an artificial depression and the slums they had been forced into as a collective nation. He showed what a people could do by rejecting the oncoming of the globalist system and worked for your nation and your people. While Fürher has a masculine annotation, it does not particularly mean father. But many people who watched first hand the great things he did for his country and the sacrifices he made to help his people before all else (much like a good father does for his children) the people did have a fondness for him as a father. Especially those that bought into the communist Propaganda of the time and at first rejected him. I would advise you to not only look to the German people under the NSDAP through the lense that you and I were both told to through Media Propaganda and the education system. You'll find answers to things that you never really understood why they were the way they were. Wondering why the German people loved Hitler so much is what caused me to start looking deeper.
