The Greeks believed that the gods controlled all of nature. They were a Pagan religion. They also believed that gods were immortal, and that they were titanic compared to the humans. A couple of gods include:

Zeus: Controls the sky and causes lightning. King of the Gods

Hera: Zeus' wife and sister, deals with marriage and women.

Poseidon: Zeus' brother, god of the sea and horses. Causes earthquakes.

Hades: Brother to Zeus and Poseidon, god of the underworld.

Aphrodite: Goddess of Beauty. She can cause men to fall in love with her.

Hephaestus: God of the anvil and fire, disability of walking.

Apollo: God of the sun, music, poetry, medicine, and flocks. Brings the sun out on a chariot.

Artemis: Goddess of the hunt, believed to be associated with the moon, Apollo's twin sister.

Ares: God of War. Usually reckless

Hestia: Virgin Goddess. Goddess of the hearth and fireplace.

Hermes: Messenger God, depicted having winged helmet and boots, some believe to not actually be a god, but be immortal.

Athena: Goddess of wisdom and military strategy. Daughter of Zeus

Demeter: Goddess of grain and fertility. Mother of Persephone

Cronus: Titan of time. Father to Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hera, and Demeter.

Rhea: Titan married to Cronus

Gaia: Titan mother of Cronus. Known as mother Earth

Oranus: Titan of time, one of the first.

Chaos: The first.

But now, all Greeks, or most, are Christian.
