Every community is unique due to their own way of living. Their traditions, physical feature, way of thinking and so on. Therefore, it is a commonsense that one like another from their own race.
Guys like girls in various aspects. Some want just to pass the time. Some want to keep the long term relationship. If they want to make the relation longer or be it marriage they need to look to the future of both of them who can mingle, mix up each other. Only than they can keep the relation longer. Unlike the west the society in Asian society is traditional. Though its changed a bit, people want to keep the relations (husband wife) longer so that they don't have to get separated and marry another person.
