I don't recommend feeding wild rabbits in the wild because some of them are dangerous and aren't used to human behaviours. Wild rabbits eat anything they can find in the wild but their main diet is made up of 99% grass, which is usually dried up in the sun making it hay. Other than that wild rabbits don't feed on pellets like domestic rabbits do but they do feed on some fruits and vegies especially carrots!!
I think that where you live and what time of the year it is, makes a difference. I live in the mid west and we are having allot of snow right now, so ground grazing is impossible for most wild animals. I feed the birds and I have had a wild rabbit eating under my bird feeder since the snow got deep. It eats the seeds the birds have knocked out, or dropped and also peanuts that I put out. I have thrown out raw peanuts and unsalted shell peanuts and it's eating it all. There could be more than one rabbit, but I am only seeing one at a time and mostly late in the evening and during the night when the birds aren't feeding.
Baby rabbits will be fed once a day by their mother and do not need any extra feeding.
The mother will usually return to her nest at night and feed them, so just because you have not seen her does not mean she isn't around.
However, if you are CERTAIN a nest is abandoned you will need to contact a wildlife rehabber who will be able to take the rabbits and feed them correctly. Rabbits have very specific requirements in their milk and it is very hard for an inexperienced person to wean baby rabbits.
I also just found a wild cotton tailed bunny (21 days old) and am wondering. I actually read that you should feed them parsely or wild plants. Before you feed them wild plants though make sure your bunny eats them. Stick it in his/her cage and if they dont eat it within your certain time perod, then try something else!
Cottontail rabbits (a wild American rabbit) eat similar things as all rabbits: wild grasses and weeds and such (and cultivated plots of veggies and herbs, when they can get to them).
carrots, peas, cheese, and grapes... almost all small fruits
It is very easy to overstress wild baby animals. If you come across an orphaned wild baby cottontail bunny, the best thing to do is to contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. However, in the meantime, you can feed the baby bunny prepared kitten milk replacement, which is available from a veterinarian.
NOT carrots. The same thing you would feed a domesticated bunny: bunny food pellets; dried grass (timothy or alfalfa); fresh greens (endive, kale, radicchio, watercress, not iceberg); and water.
small amounts of carrots, celery and other various vegables...
flowers, plants, and berries . some eat grass its like hay to them.
grass,twigs
It really depends on what bunny, theirs wild bunnies and home pets. If you have a home serve bunny then it would be O.K to feed it milk, wildly NO you shouldn't be coming up to wild bunnies anyways unless you have a job with national gegraphic of somthing!:) Hoped i helped
It is possible to domesticate a wild baby bunny. Before taking the bunny home it is best to consult the local laws in your vicinity on keeping wild animals as pets.
There are many things you could feed a wild mouse. You could feed it alfalfa and see if it will eat it.
food
Because most bunny's in the wild have adapted to there environment by there fur color so predators wont see them as easily as a white bunny.
Wild rabbits are herbivores. They feed on leafy weeds, forbs, and grass. Leafy greens of sorts should also be good for rabbits.

It is best to hand feed your bunny so they get used to you. But feed them things like carrots and rabbit pellets. DO NOT FEED THE ICEBERG LETTUCE. ITS HIGHLY TOXIC!!
Put out feed to it. Proper rabbit food, not any old leftovers
they usually live in whole underground made with the mother rabbits fur ,areas with alot of grass/flowers to feed on
