Islam:
No! Though the Jewish people believe in a Messiah ben joseph that suffered for the sins of the people they do not believe Jesus was that one. And the Muslims believe He was the Messiah but only for Israel.
The question can only be answered if you think that all Christian sects think the same.
Judaism: NO. Judaism does not ascribe any importance to Jesus.
Christianity: YES. Christianity believes the Messiah to refer to God becoming flesh and self-sacrificing for humanity, which is exactly what Jesus does.
Islam: YES. Islam believes that the Messiah is a certain type of prophet. Islam holds that Jesus came to Earth to reveal the Gospel and remains on Earth in order to fight the Antichrist at the End of Days.
They believe that they are prophets who were made to send a message to their people
God and Messiah Jesus Christ, though Jewish people believe in the Messiah, most don't recognize yet that it is Jesus. While Muslims believe in Jesus from their scripture they don't recognize Christ yet for who he really is. The prophet Abraham is viewed highly by all 3 religions.
Abraham
Muslims believe in one God: Allah. He is the God of Abraham in the Old Testament account. Islam, like Christianity are Abrahamic religions that grew out of Judaism. All three religions believe in the same God, the original God of the Hebrew peoples. Jews generally believe the Messiah has not yet come and that Jesus, who was a practicing Jew, is not the Messiah but a learrn-ed teacher and Rabbi. Muslims believe Jesus to be a prophet, but also believe Muhammed was the last and greatest prophet. Christians of course, for the post part consider Jesus to be the Messiah. Allah is simply the Arabic word for God.
A:Scholars say that all religions share a common inheritance from ancient forms of animism and shamanism. Often developing in isolation, these origins have resulted in some close similarities between religions, even in quite different regions of the world. The shaman became the priest in more advanced religions. Eventually, the sun god, moon god or weather god became regarded as the supreme god and in some cases as the only God in the world. Hope gives rise to belief in some form of afterlife. In order to justify their worship, gods must be able to reward and punish the faithful, either in this life or the next. The most widely recognised division between religions is in whether they are generally polytheistic or monotheistic, although some religions are not entirely monotheistic or polytheistic.
Jews call "the Messiah" as "the Messiah" or in Hebrew "HaMoshiach" (המשיח). However, as opposed to other religions, such as Christianity or Islam, Judaism does not believe that the Messiah has come yet and therefore is not identified with any person. For example, Jews don't believe that Jesus was the Messiah and, therefore, do not accept the Christian or Islamic claims that he was a God prophet or God/son of God.
The only religion that does believe in Jesus is Christianity. All the other religions do not believe that He is the Messiah.
Judaism is the source of most of The Bible (the Christians call the Jewish-accepted portions "the Old Testament"), the origin of the concept of Messiah is from Judaism, both are monotheistic religions, and Jesus himself was Jewish and was learned of Jewish traditions and laws--he was a rabbi.
Christians believe that Judaism laid the foundation for Christianity and our Messiah and Savior Jesus Christ, but that God gave us Christianity to be forgiven through salvation.
Christianity is one of the three monotheistic religions, religions in which the belief is in one God. Christianity arose out of Judaism with the life and teachings of Jesus. After His death His followers continued His teaching. They are known to us as the early Christians from the word christ meaning the messiah. This was the beginning of the Christian religion.
Well, first of all both religions believe in the Old Testament as the Word of God. And both of them believe in the Messiah, a Saviour who will free the world from evil and will be a global emperor bringing heaven alive on earth. He is the Son of God. But while the Jews believe that the Messiah is still to come, the Christian's already believe that the Messiah is Jesus Christ and his Resurrection has established the Kingdom of the Spirit on the earth. Also except for such sects as the Mormons ,most Christians believe that the Jews are Gods chosen people. Both religions celebrate the Sabbath ,even though they are on separate days .
The Messiah, or Moshiach, is who we believe is going to bring peace to the earth. God promised to Abraham that the Messiah will come when we either:When we are following all the Torah's Laws, orAt the Jewish Year 6000 (Gregorian Year: 2240)Which ever one comes first.
Yes...Jews do not believe either.
