Islam is a global religion, and part of many cultures. Cultural practices vary a great deal from place to place. In many places, Muslims have adopted some local practices that are not Islamic. Islam has only two feasts: Eid al-Adha (the Feast of the Sacrifice, commemorating God's decision not to require the sacrifice of Prophet Abel, God bless him and grant him peace) and Eid al-Fitr (the Feast of Fast-Breaking, celebrating the end of Ramadan, the month of Islamic fasting.) On feast days, Muslim dress in new clothes to offer a special congregational prayer during the morning, and then spend the day relaxing with family and friends. They have a big dinner which includes some of the meat of a sheep that has been sacrificed earlier in the day (the rest of the meat goes to the poor) and visit each other. Often Muslims give their children (and other people's) gifts of cash or toys. Picnics and trips to amusement parks are also popular.
Muslims celebrate festivals just like rest of the other religions such as Chrisrians celebrate Christmas. They do similar things such as get together as a family, rememberance of God, presents are given, etc...
No special rituals for food styles to eaten by Muslims during their festivals. The important requirement is that food and drink types should be of that allowed by God in Quran and/or the prophet in his sayings and practices. See related question, listed below, for more details.
Jesus (peace be upon him) is described by the Qur'an as - & is recognised & revered by Muslims as - a major & final Jewish Prophet, the Jewish Messiah, & a Messenger from God/Allah (but only as a man, not - in any way or sense - the son of God/Allah, a member of a divine trinity, or a divine being), e.g:
"O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His word which He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers, and say not "Three". Cease! (it is) better for you! Allah is only One God. Far is it removed from His transcendent majesty that he should have a son. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is sufficient as Defender." Qur'an, 4:171
"The Messiah, son of Mary, was no other than a messenger, messengers (the like of whom) had passed away before him. And his mother was a saintly woman. And they both used to eat (earthly) food. See how we make the revelations clear for them" Qur'an, 5:75
The Qur'anic stories of the conception & birth of Jesus (peace be upon him), however, are significantly different from, & far less elaborate than, the New Testament stories. They are also free of the many non-Jewish motifs that historians & scholars have found in the New Testament stories, nor do they contain dateable references (nor mention Joseph), e.g:
"She (Mary) said: How can I have a son when no mortal hath touched me, neither have I been unchaste! He said: So (it will be). Thy Lord saith: It is easy for Me. And (it will be) that We may make of him a revelation for mankind and a mercy from Us, and it is a thing ordained. And she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a place. And the pangs of childbirth drove her unto the trunk of the palm tree. She said: Oh, would that I had died ere this and had become a thing of naught, forgotten!" Qur'an, 19:20-23
Additionally, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) discouraged Muslims from celebrating birthdays (including his own), other anniversaries (whether by the solar or lunar/Islamic calendar), or, indeed, any festivals other than the end of the fasting month of Ramadan & the time of the Hajj/Pilgrimage to Makkah.
As a result of all these factors, there is no Christmas celebration in Islam, & most Muslims do not celebrate Christmas in any way.
Having said all that, however, many Muslims are happy to join in many of the Christmas celebrations of Christian friends, colleagues &/or neighbours, in a spirit of friendship, community, &/or mutual respect.
