They are pretty seriously endangered in the wild, and live in the dense rainforest of several Philippine Islands. They specially like dense bamboo and palm undergrowth growing beneath big forest trees. The most famous place to see them is the island of Bohol in the Philippines, where there is a breeding programme to increase the population and return them to the wild.
This animal lives in Bohol, Samar, Leyte and Mindanao.
