After three days worker and drone larvae are fed a mixture of a reducing amount of bee milk and increasing amounts of pollen and nectar (or diluted honey) until they are fully grown as larvae and the cells are capped for them to pupate.
Queen larvae are fed on large amounts of royal jelly right up to the time their cell is capped.
