What do bones look like when you break them?
I really do not no how bones look and i am a kid in 3rd grade who goes on Answers.com?
It's interesting to wonder how bones "look" inside your body. First, bones have all kinds of shapes. Some bones are long (like in your legs), but some are short (like in your fingers). Some are flatter and others more rounded. And some bones, like in your feet, hands, and spine, are a bunch of tiny bones that all work together. Second, bones are hard--like your teeth! But while teeth are supposed to be really white, bones are more yellowish-white. Third, bones often need shock absorbers in between them. A shock absorber is like having a tiny pillow between bones, so the bones don't break when we walk and run. Fourth, all bones are attached to other things, like muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Fifth, most interesting of all, in most bones there is an inside area that makes things your body needs. As you study in school, you will learn more about bones and muscles!
