I believe that the calories that are left over, from burning the day's actions are put and transferred into fats, which are stored in your body. It can be in your thighs, feet, arms, legs, hands, face, stomach, chest, and etc.

∙ 16y agoCalories are a measure of food energy. If you burn up that energy with exercise then you loose calories. If you are inactive, then your body stores those calories as fat. So calories only make you fatter if you don't exercise.
