If an item in the Grand Exchange is overstocked, allow the stock to go down and the price to rise before selling your stock. Alternatively, just wait a few days and your items will eventually sell.

∙ 12y agoA merchant will get a group of merchants (usually about 50 players) and they will ALL buy as much of one item as possible. This increases its price. ( Make sure you buy an item EVERYONE is buying otherwise you will waste time) Then when the price gets higher than about 25%, they sell all their stuff they bought. This gives them a marginal profit from 30%-40% more gold than they started with.
