What do people do in a mandir?

they basically just worship the gods and they ring a bell to let the god know they are coming to worship him/her . They have to take off their shoes before they enter.

Another answer: A Mandir is a place of worship. It is like a temple in which the people gather congressionally and together worship the Lord by singing his praises and give offerings. A mandir in India is very much different than a mandir in other parts of the world. One cannot wear their shoes inside and it is approprite to wear the cultural clothes of Indian when attending.

you still have to take your shoes off in regular ones all over the world any
