17: That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
the NIV puts it this way...
you who once laid low the nations!

"Is this the man who shook the earth

who overthrew its cities

JUST FOR YOUR FYI the bible also talks about what JESUS looks like also... look in Isaiah 53:2
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
the NIV puts it this was....
2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
