Lets use P205/75 R15
P is for passenger tire (LT would be light truck)
205 is the width of the tread in millimeters
75 is the aspect ratio. That is the height of the side wall as a percenteage of the tread width ( it is 75% of 205mm tall )
R is for a radial tire
15 is the rim size in inches.
The big numbers refer to the size of the tire, rim size, tire height and width, as well as load rating (for example, "LT" refers to Light Truck duty)
Other (smaller) numbers refer to manufacture date, operating temperature, tire wear expectation and other information about the tire.
That is NOT a tire size. -The size is a much longer series of numbers and letters.
I'd refer to the info panel on the driver's side door jamb, or I'd just ask my local tire dealer. On the side wall of the tire there is a bunch of numbers and letters usually looking like P195/60R15 (example only). Those numbers correspond to the tires tread and size.
the size of the tire, the model, when it was made
265 70 16 tire size will fit on 16 inch rims. The first numbers of the range indicate the tire face. The second set of numbers is the tire height. The last set of numbers indicates the rim size.
numbers mean the size of the tire, the size of the wheel they will fit on and the width of the tire.also found on all tires are a serial number
On the outside of your tire, there are numbers which indicate the size of the tire. The last few digits will be the rim size of the tire. You will also want to measure the width of the tire.
It is how big you want your tire to be its to big or to wide.
The diameter of the wheel base.
Typically, they are Height/Width and Inner diameter size.
The numbers refer to the distance sround the body, not cup size. You can be a 34C or a 34DD, the letters refer to cup size.
There are a series of numbers printed on the sidewall of the tire, just above the bead area. They will not be as uniformed or professional looking as the tire size number or printed brand of the tire. One side of the tire will have these additional numbers and the other side won't. The side with the most numbers", will tell you the manufacture date. The last 4 numbers are the date recorded as week and year. For instance if it lists 1608, then the tire was made the 16th week of 2008.
