There has never been a strong, but politically correct word for hatred of Moslems and of Islam in English. The current word is Islamophobe, but this word is weak and does not seem to be on the same level of virulence as Anti-Semitism. The word that used to be that strong in Medieval Europe was Anti-Mohammedanism which is currently politically incorrect because Moslems do not worship Mohammed, but worship God though Mohammed's message (as opposed to Christians who worship Christ).
Many Moslems today use the word "Racist" even though Islam is not a race and has members across every major ethnicity (including small Latino communities).

β 10y agoThe current term that most people use is Islamophobe, which is deals more with fear than Anti-Muslim sentiment. The proper term is Anti-Mohammedan, but that word has gone out of style with the realization that Muslims do not worship Mohammed like the Christians worship Christ.
