Spokes!
Steel.
Steel wiredrawing plants manufacture tie wires
After removing screws from the back side of the wheel and removing the center cover (there are probably some wires to disconnect also), you can then remove the nut holding the wheel to the column shaft and attach a steering wheel or gear puller to remove the wheel.
A 4 wheel abs would have sensor wires running to the front wheel bearings.A 4 wheel abs would have sensor wires running to the front wheel bearings.
you need to pull the center piece off of the steering wheel and look at the wires in the steering wheel hub as there is a wire that controls the horn that is either loose or shorting out against metal when you turn the wheel.
copper is cheaper to manufacture and easier to bend then steel
first disconect batt then remove air bag assy from center of wheel and unplug wires. reinstall air bag now it cannot go off
they are suspended from steel wires
You can fix the horn on your 1998 Cirrus by first removing the center of the steering wheel cover by prying it off. Then, check for loose wiring or wires that are exposed which might be causing the horn to activate. Fix the loose wiring or exposed wires to solve the problem.
THERE ARE TWO WIRES
Primary utility wiring uses an ACSR cable, (Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced). The multiple strands of aluminum wires are wound around a center steel cable. The steel center is used to allow longer spans between poles or towers. Ordinary aluminum wire can not be long spanned because its weight would break the wire. All other high voltage wiring is done with different insulation thicknesses dependant upon what the voltage is. The higher the voltage the thicker the insulation. Insulation of the wires stops when the conductors carry kilo voltages usually above 5000 volts.
I think copper is cheaper.
