What do you do after you get the Kanto badges in Pokemon Soul Silver?

In Johto, when all 8 gym badges are obtained, the Player is given the opportunity to battle the Kimono Girls and subsequently catch Lugia if desired. Once this has been completed, the player can use Waterfall outside of battle, which lets them journey to victory road and then Indigo Plateau where the Elite 4 can be battled.

After beating the Elite 4, the player may continue collecting gym badges in Kanto. These badges can be collected in any order, and once all of them have been collected, the player can go see Professor Oak who will give you a pass to get into Mt. Silver. While in Mt. Silver, the player can catch Moltres, and battle Red. Professor Oak will also give the player HM 09, Rock Climb, which cannot be used until all 16 badges are obtained. This HM can be used to collect various hidden items previously unobtainable, and traversing Mt. Silver.

Go west of Eucreak town (where the 4th gym leader was) use surf to get across to mahogany town, and go calm down the raging gyrados, then beat team rockets lair, then you can fight the 7th gym leader.

After the fourth gym, go to Olivine City (travel west of Ecruteak City). Travel to the top of the lighthouse (through the stairs, not the elevator) to visit the sick Ampharos. Jasmine, who owns the Ampharos, will tell you what to do from there.

You have to confront Team Galactic at Acuity Lake, then follow them to their hideout in Veilstone City.
