I think it is stupid if a guy is afraid to ask you out because of his rep.
You shold probably try to convince his friends that you are a cool preson.
You could make it a secret.
There are many other things you could do ask a friend for help i needed.

Okay, this is a "been there done that" deal. I... personally, feel when I really like a guy I need to do that. But it is not the BEST way to ask a guy that. Your friend can hint that you like him, but to do it flat out usually fails. I think it is because the guy feels that you are either afraid or are too immature to ask him a question. The only time I would reccommend having your friend ask him is if you are so afraid that you would need medicine for it. I guess it really depends on how you ask guys that in the first place.
