how to repair drivers side manual window for 2002 jeep liberty sport
The question is: Is this the drivers window switch but it opens the passenger side's window? Who was driving or in the driver's seat. You may have spilled enough beer on the arm rest that leaked into the switch and created a corrosive electrical connection for the window motor/
Pop out the switch on the drivers door; it may be a simple connection at the drivers side (master switch). All power runs thru this switch before going to the motors or other switches.
Dealer? Salvage Yard?
the window motor could be busted or a fuse could have blown.
On a 99 Ram "Sport" 1500 4x4 5.9 Gas the Transmission is a 46 RE and the "Neutral/Back up switch" is located on the Drivers side of the Tranny towards the rear right above the pan.
There could be several causes for this type of problem: 1) The power window up portion of the switch is not functioning or wiring is loose at the switch and or motor. 2) The motor is failing and is not providing enough force to raise the window or is off-track and inding. To check this condition lower the window , then grasp the window and when the up button is pressed assist it(leave enough space to ensure you do not pinch you hand.in the window frame) if the window motor operates and the window begins to rise the window could be binding or the motor replaced. in either case the door panel will need to be removed the electrical switch and motor are tested and the mechanical operator and track inspected for proper operation.
Yes , it's in the drivers footwell , behind the kick panel ( there is an access hole ) according to the picture

I was looking at the fuse diagrams for a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac : In the Power Distribution Box in the engine compartment ( which is " live ) Fuse # 3 is a 30 amp cartridge fuse for - power down back window Fuse # 47A is a 20 amp mini fuse for - windows / roof Relay # 48 - is the window safety relay also , in the interior fuse panel in the drivers end of the dash ( the fuse panel cover is visible with the drivers door open ) fuse # 20 is a 7.5 amp fuse for - power down back window , GEM , radio , moonroof relay , and power window relay
No, there is no kill switch except for the ignition switch.
defective brake light switch. crawl into the drivers side and look for a simple push button switch above the break pedal(switch will be covered by the bar until you push the brake down). Check the switch is moving... replace or unjamm the switch...
It is very possible that it isjust a fuse. hope it does it for ya! Could be than not of the other power windows switches work either. If this is the case and only the drivers switch can operate the other windows then the most likely casue is the lock out swicth on the drivers side is gone.
for my 2002 boxster (not a sport) there is an unmarked raising/lowering switch on the drivers side near the floor close to the clutch pedal. hope that helps.
Remove the door panel. Remove the bolt that fastens the regulator to the window. Remove the 3 bolts that hold the regulator assembly to the door. Squeeze the entire assembly through the largest hole and replace with a new assembly in reverse order.
The door ajar switch on the 2008 Ford Sport is located inside the door that is mounted on the backside.

The horn switch is part of the airbag cover.
horn not working on 2003 ford explorer sport trac, just a clicking sound
On the trans. I have an 02 Coupe, just a base model and to get to the switch you had to take off the drivers side front wheel and then take off the plastic cover behind that to get to it and you should be able to see it there
Hit it with a big hammer
Check bulbs Check the relay in power distribution block Check the operation of the switch in turn signal stalk
The Fuel pump under the backseat is probably leaking on top. Lift your backseat up and open the rubber covering. The pump is under the covering behind the drivers seat slightly to the middle. Switch on the ignition to get the pump working and you may see petrol leaking out of the top.
The fuel pump shut off switch ( inertia switch ) is in the front passenger footwell by the kick panel on a 2003 Ford Explorer Sport
