1. send them an email listing 20 reasons you should get one.
2. never beg, if you do they will get agitated and never say yes.
3. tell them good facts about guinea pigs when your parents are happy.and those are a few of my most honest opinions... hope they help you
And also you could do your research on the Guinea pig and the get a pencil and paper and sit down with your parents and see why you can't have one. when you have all their reasons, maybe you can make agreement.Wiki User

∙ 12y agothey are meant to be the best pets for children. they're friendly, fun, easy to feed and only have to clean them out once a week.
they are also very loveable and cute.
Make sure you do your research before you get one. First of all you need 2 guinea pigs or the one can become depressed. You will also end up spending a lot of money on food since they need lettuce and fruit and veggies daily. Also please adopt from a rescue

∙ 14y agoThis is hard to take when you really want a pet. You can show them that you can be responsible. Ask them to try out a live plant for awhile to show them you can take care of a live thing. Get a live plant and take care of it for a decided amount of time and that will show your parents you can be responsible for a live animal.

∙ 12y agoIt depends. if you've got loads of pets already and you don't look after them properly then its kinda obvous. im in that situation right now, but ive already got 22 fish, a cat, a rabbit, and a guinea pig!

∙ 11y agoWell, first of all, if your parents don't want you getting a Guinea Pig, then I don't think you should get one. But, if you really want to get one, then first you should show them responsibility, and show them how good you are with animals. Also, you should tell them that you'll clean their cage, feed them, and shower them. And you have to do it, too. Because after that, they will never get you an animal, if you show them the opposite of what you are doing. :)

∙ 11y agoIf your parents don't want a guinea pig, you have to respect that because they will be the ones paying for its food, bedding and vet expenses (that can get pretty steep). Guinea pigs can live for 7 or 8 years, you might be off to college by that time, they will be the ones taking care of it.

No. guinea pigs of different breeds wont fight. Some times guinea pigs are like people and they just done seem to get along with each other and some times they seem to develop strong bonds. But their breed would not determine this.

you cant separate the babys from their mother for about 4 weeks but when they are ready they wont really care about being separated as long as the guinea-pig is not all alone guinea-pigs should live in groups so make sure that they are not on their own but other wise if you want to separate them then all you have to to is put them in a different cage or if you dont want them you can sell them to a trustworthy petshop who will take care of them or give them away. !
