Many virus scanners, ad-ware. mall-ware programs are set by default to run at certain time. Shutting down any of these programs will unfreeze the computer as these programs tend to use allot of memory.

∙ 9y agoBy Pressing Alt + Ctrl + Delete key combination to call upon Task Manager that will let you know all the running program. Close or End the un-necessary programs you feel suspicious and then see that the performance speed gets better then before. Or You can wait a little longer than usual, the system itself will get back the control for you. Additionally, keep refreshing your system a short time passage as the memory in you computer system is getting filled by raw (garbage) values of your ex-screen pointers, activities etc. and needs to a bit say free.

∙ 12y agoRefreshing the page would be your best option. This can be done by pressing "f5". Clicking everywhere on the screen will just make it slower. If refreshing doesn't work, then just wait.
