Once my guinea pig, Fudge, accidentally bit me on my finger. I thought it was OK but then it started bleeding really badly. I cleaned it up and put some of that Dettol cream on it. Then I put a band-aid on it. the next day I took the band-aid off and it was REALLY swollen so I went to the doctor. I recommend you go to the doctor too because your guinea pig could have a disease or something and it might spread to you. I had to be on medication for two weeks and after that it really cleared up. Don't put a band-aid on it for too long otherwise the bite will not have air to heal it better.
well I have a guinea pig pig with a half gone ear and she's fine. it's very common for you to have a guinea pig with a bitten ear. somtimes it turns out that your guinea pig was just born with it. but one of the main reasons alot of guinea pigs have that defect is because when their born the father will try to eat the baby guinea pig if you don't remove it from the cage emidetly. no one knows why but they always go for the ear first. but if your guinea pigs have baby's and the father gets the ear take it to the vet. but if you bought it at the pet store and it came like that then you do nothing special to it.
Well, to tame it, hold a piece of lettuce or pepper in your hand and they will eat it and you will bond. Also tap it on the nose when it bites.
pretty much nothin (ps its not like ur going to die)
Take it to a vet to see what he recommends for treatment.
Wash it out and go to the hospital/doctor to get it stitched.
By bad guinea pig do you mean it bites? A guinea pig will only bite if it feels threatened, scared or hurt.
it will squeek
If the guinea pig is not bleeding its okey but if it is then see your vet asap.
guinea pigs bite them self because they are itchy SO GIVE THEM A BATH
no you shouldn't be scared
no ive never known guinea pigs bite
Yes it all depends on what kind of spider has bitten the guinea pig
matters if the guinea pig has rabies or is wild. my concern is make sure to go to the doctor and get it checked out just to be on the safe side
Guinea pig bites are very rare. If your guinea pig bites you, it may be because you are holding him/her in a uncomfortable position. If you are holding hin comfortably, check over his body and make sure he hasn 't got any bites/scratches that may be irritating him. A guinea pig may also bite/nibble if it is hungry and you have a food scent on your hands.
you might, if its really, really, really, really, really, really deep
Nothing. A guinea pig isn't poisonous. I know, I have one.
most guinea pig bites dont need cleaning as they will lick them and are generally quite small however if your guinea pig does have a nasty wound that needs cleaning warm water will do the trick just give them a bath but dont have the water to deep until your guinea pig knows how to swim. (yes they can swim) if the wound doesnt seem any better or is particulary deep and open or becomes infected than take it to the vets.
