What is a good way to answer someone who says they love you if you are not ready to say it back?

If you are not ready to say it back, be honest and tell them you aren't ready to say it back. If you don't want to say it back because you don't love them and won't ever love them, you should tell them that as well. Honesty is the best policy.

∙ 16y agoIt really just depends on how you feel. Be straight forward, honest and polite. If you find you are not interested be polite and let them know your flattered but you are not interested in them that way. If you are unsure where love is concerned but may have feelings for them let them know that also as to not lead anyone on. It is always better to be honest.

If you go through with this marriage you're not only cheating yourself out of love, but more importantly cheating your future husband out of a decent life with a good wife.
