What do you do when you're a female and other females are jealous of you and are mean to you?

You must look inwards and ask yourself if you act egotistical and do you think you're the best thing since sliced bread was invented. I do know there are many beautiful women out there with a wonderful personality, but more than not, there are more ego-tripping females out there. If you show kindness and give of yourself then many people will gravitate to you. If you are always preening yourself, a snob, talk about other people, then you need to work on your personality. I am not accusing you of these things, but sometimes (and I mean just sometimes) people can't see the forest for the trees. In other words, you'll be the last to know if you are egotistical and a royal pain in the butt even if someone tells you to your face you are. The "nos" are going after a friend's boyfriend or anyone else's boyfriend for that matter or using your beauty to get your own way with men. There have been powerful men that have fallen for the sake of a beautiful woman. If you are just a good looking girl with a good personality, then to heck with the rest of them. In all my 64 years on earth the worst enemy I can sometimes come across is another woman! There are a lot of women who can't stand to see a good looking woman (they see red flags go up) or can't stand to see other women climb the ladder of success. I have bumped into some wonderful women in my day, but can count 30 and no more. A woman of distinction and dignity is a woman that knows herself and is super self-confident. A woman that can cheer her own sex on and not ponder as to why that person got the breaks and she didn't is a powerful woman. The personality is the spirit of the person, and without working on our personalities we have nothing! I mean nothing! My father told me these wise words: "Don't go through life counting on your beauty, but perfect your personality, because beauty fades so you'd better have something to fall back on." How true and I'm glad I heeded my father's words. If these girls are getting under your skin and you're truly just a nice person, then ignore them and go onto bigger and better things. I always tell young women/men to volunteer at something they enjoy because it helps to balance ourselves. Also, change your group of friends! Good luck Marcy
