It is best to store these tapes in the sleeve in which they were sold. Remember to remove the plastic wrap. I place mine on a book shelf standing on end away from the tv set and the stereo equipment as the magnetism can erase them. Keep them out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources such as registers and radiators. Also, try to keep them out of dusty areas and rooms that are too cold or too hot.

No film companies are producing new copies of films on VHS anymore. It's all on DVD now. Of course, used copies of VHS can still be found.
