What do you have to do to be emancipated?

Turn the legal age in your country or state, get married or, if emancipation by the court is allowed in your state you can apply for that. Usually you have to have turned 16 and have to fill the criteria like having your own place to live, own income, pay your own bills etc.

Someone mentioned getting pregnant but pregnancy or being a parent does not emancipate you in any US state.
