Just phone up Child Welfare (that's what they call it in Canada.) You better have a good reason for this. If your parents don't beat you, abuse you in any way and only make you abide by house rules such as doing homework on time, being home at a certain time and asking you to do chores around the house or, they don't like a couple of the friends you hang with or, they don't want you drinking too much or getting into drugs, then consider yourself lucky! Usually teens around 13+ start to flex their independent wings and think they know all and that's when the teen and parents start to butt heads. This sort of thing has been going on for decades and I went through it too. However, I learned a very good lesson ... when I can pay for my own food, clothing and other bills, and work, then it's their house and not mine and I had to abide by their rulings or get out and make it on my own. Of course I didn't understand this at first (getting mixed messages) of "You're only 15 years old and you will do as we say" to "For heavens sakes, act your age and grow up!" That always did confuse me. I grew up in the 1950s. Really think this one out and try talking to your parents. If you show some signs of responsibility your parents will start letting you have a little more freedom. Remember, your home is not a prison, but, until you are a parent yourself in the future you will never realize how much parents worry about their children being harmed out in this hard world. Cut them some slack and they may just listen to you and your needs if you approach them in a mature and communicative fashion.
