You don't seem so sure it was discrimination and perhaps it was poor work habits or you would have fought this and probably won. You have "freedom of rights" and if it was discrimination then it's against the law! I will add it is extremely hard to prove in a court of law, but the law will often rule in favor of the employee if they've had a clean work record previously. If you are absolutely sure you were let go because of discrimination then go to your Labor Relations (that's what we call it in Canada) and form a complaint against this company to ensure that you will have any black marks taken off your former work ethics. With proof (if you have any) you can actually sue this company. If you aren't sure, then try phoning another Supervisor or boss you liked and trusted in the former company and ask for a "Letter of Recommendation" and DON'T say one word about discrimination. If you can't get one, then be honest with the person that is interviewing you for a possible job. There is no need to go on and on about discrimination because they will just consider you too much trouble. They will read your past employment record and decide after that. Good luck Marcy

The dehuminizing, the humiliation and the frustration of the victim can result in an eruption of violance as the last possible menas of defending themselves. People in the majority, or biast like the first respons above, often blame the victim for defending themselves and see it as an act of agression rather than an act of defense.
