a man called xxxxx started fox hunting 300years ago Fox hunting started as a result of livestock poultry etc being take by foxes. The best way to hunt fox is with fast transport and dogs and as the people who had the money to afford these things were the landlords and it was the landlords that stood to lose the most as a result of to many foxes this hunt eventualy turned into a sport. which benefited farmers. People were just not too concerned about people cruelty in those days let alone animal cruelty. and this was necessary for survival.
I think it's barbaric and is a waste of time. Fox hunting doesn't reduce fox population, but for the 15000 that get killed a year get mauled, stamped on and ripped apart, i feel sorry for. Fox hunters often tresspass land without permission which also causes problems. 6000 hounds and puppies get shot a year, 3 people get killed, 500 get injured, 1000 hounds are injured, policing costs are paid by taxpayers, and they're over £1 million. That's what I think about fox hunting.
The hunting of a fox on horseback and with dogs who track and trap the fox.
A somewhat snobby "sport" that most foxes do not care for.
No because many Americans have pet foxes. I have a pet fox. If I see one of your pets I'll ask you if killing it's fun. If you kill a fox I'll kill a kitten and a puppy. Got it?
