get a few paper towels
A useful answer:The best way is to just change the oil and change it again 1/4 the recommended period. Call it 1000 miles. The new oil will pick up all the crud and a quick oil change like this will do as much good as nasty chemicals with out the risk of damaging your engine.
Some engines will be ruined by chemical flushes! Not far, anyway. The engine flush is not engine oil ... its only purpose is to, hopefully, clean the inside of the engine areas. That's why it's called "Engine Flush" and not "Engine Oil". Get it out and put the new oil in soon.
Add Engine Flush to the motor oil at running temperature before changing the oil. After adding the product, allow the engine to idle for approx. 10 minutes. Then change the oil and the filter. Engine Flush is compatible with all commercially available motor oils. We recommend cleaning the engine interior with Engine Flush before every oil change.
Do you mean flush the oil (not recommended) or flush the coolant?
No, the flush oil is to clean the parts of the engine that are oiled. If you put it in the fuel tank it will block up tour fuel filters and your carburettors.
No. It is a gimmick. Do regular oil & filter changes instead.
I do it befor every oil change, and my engine is very silent
hydraulic tappet's does it have enough engine oil if yes flush engine oil and add new
You add a product to your oil and let it circulate throughout the engine to clean or flush out all the built up grime and gook that occurs as a byproduct of oil. These byproducts can cause lubricating issues in the engine, and lubrication is key in any engine. The idea is to get regular and routine oil changes with quality oil and a filter to avoid these issues. Engine flushes have their place, but be sure you have a need for it first and research your product before using. Many swear by them while others swear at them.
Yes. The idea is usually to add it to the old oil and then flush it out with the oil change. Read and follow the instructions for the product you are using.
i believe it is about 8 quarts to flush and fill the system. i believe it is about 8 quarts to flush and fill the system.
That could be engine coolant in your oil. If so you may have a blown head gasket. You need to have this looked at by a professional to make sure otherwise you can destroy this engine if you continue to drive. This is not normal.
Oil yes. Sludge from overheating maybe not. Might be able to run some engine oil flush through the oil system and see if it cleans it out. Don't drive the car with it in the engine and change the oil twice after you drain it all out to be sure you get all of the kerosene out. Otherwise, you will end up with a locked up, overheated engine.
